This is my 6th or so play-through and each time I would work steadily to completely clear my farm so I could maximize the amount of grass that spreads for future animal hay. This time I did four corners (single player), left one corner neglected, and this happened! I then read how it works on the wiki and I understand why I never got them before haha. I am sooooo excited.
Dang I’ve played for years and have yet to see one of these. Lucky!
Try to clear everything but trees and see if you get lucky! I went in and cleared the bushes (the ones that drop fiber and seeds) and grass and let the trees go crazy in this corner of my farm to stock up on wood for winter.
Nice! I’ve been hoping for one myself, just finished first year playing sve. Maybe I’ll try letting one of the animal areas go crazy with trees and see what happens.
Is the game run on a blue vita?
It’s a Nintendo switch
The light reflection makes it look like a blue chassis. Is it an OLED? Colors look good
It might just be the lighting of the image. It’s a regular black switch. It was resting on my dark grey couch which looks blueish in this pic! You can see the charging cable in the bottom.
I should have figured out how to send screenshots from my switch to my phone, but I was so excited when I saw this I couldn’t spare the time! Haha I promise I’ll post higher quality photos in the future!
Yeah I had to look at it like for a good minute. It reminded me like I mentioned in the opening post of the blue vita, slim metallic bezel. I did edit my reply :)

Iirc, in fall, any untapped wild trees on your farm have a small chance each night to turn into one. (Obviously the fewer such trees you have, the smaller change you have to get one.) There’s also a late game option to buy a mushroom tree seed.
Mushroom trees grow (if you planted a seed) and spread as usual for wild trees, and can be tapped for mushrooms. They go dormant in winter (look like a stump), but recover in spring if left alone. You can also chop them down for mushrooms (I’ve heard that chopping them down to a stump but leaving the stump will also recover in spring, but haven’t tested it myself).

*Lightning strike the next day
No! It’s dropped a couple seeds and a few more grew so I’m in the clear if lightning does destroy one haha
