    Pretty sure I’ve heard this every election since Trump got elected. Though, admittedly, not from a noted gorilla scientist.

            The United States of America is a bourgeois dictatorship, not a democracy. The only important election of our lives will be the first one after the Workers take control.

            I plan on voting Claudia and Karina 2024 and I recommend that others do the same.

              There are sometimes local races with only one candidate, but most races have more than one. Doesn’t mean that they’re all decent choices. But people can and do vote as they choose.

                Great, I was worried I had to vote for Genocide Joe Biden, but instead I’ll vote for someone I want to vote for.

                  And the consequences of a lot people doing that is that we will end up with Trump ending democracy and leaving us with a fascist state and no more meaningful elections

                    That’s what you’ve said for every election of my life, and I’m not young. It’s starting to wear thin, especially now that you’re trying to do it for someone who literally already was president. If what you say is true, then we already became a fascist state with no meaningful elections in 2016, so I won’t bother to vote at all.

        Exactly. This sounds eerily similar to Bush v Gore. Trump is more distasteful than Bush, but at least he didn’t get us into multiple “forever” wars. And Biden doesn’t seem to care much about green policy, at least not compared to Gore.

        I’m not voting for Trump, just wanted to agree that the argumentation sounds very similar.
