Eh. This is someone who has existed solely in academia pretty comfortably since the 80’s. I don’t think much of her take resonates with people who have jobs they fear for and are scrapping and fighting for the little they have and want to maintain. It also sounds like she doesn’t really grasp how much the middle class has shrunk, and the gap between the new lower-middle, and the wealthy. I assume she’s pretty well off.
