Wait, what’s happening with twitch?
They’re changing how Affiliates and Partners get paid and how they’re allowed to stream on Twitch. And they still have a 50/50 payout split as opposed to the 70/30 split that several partners have been asking for.
Like, I understand Twitch has server operating costs and stuff, And they are owned by Amazon so its all a rounding figure anyway, But its CRAZY to me that these people refuse to pay or keep happy the people who are the SOLE source of content.
Twitch’s ONLY content are the streamers on their site. Reddits ONLY content are people aggregating links and posting to their site… And yet these companies continue to just piss off their creators.
Im assuming its just because there is no viable alternative. You wanna stream? gotta do it there for views. Got the streamers over a barrel…
