My conspiracy theory is that the Russians got dirt on Vance, so he’s actually Trump’s prisoner. It would explain his wild switch on his opinion of Trump and why he looks so stressed and extra fake all the time. He is trapped and has to go alone with it I hope we find out one day what the dirt is.

Yeah, that’s what I’m realizing from the responses to this question. Thanks for pointing that out. Btw, it wasn’t my sister laughing. It was my supervisor at work that was laughing when I referred to my sister and her group as those people. Oopsies!

All I can say is there’s typically an implicit negative connotation when using the form “those people” regardless of intent. Usually it’s used that way when stereotyping or otherwise making a blanket statement about a group, so even benign uses of the phrase tend to sound hostile.

I think that’s the understanding of gravity for sizes of an atom and larger, which fall under the theory of relativity. In relativity, gravity is not a force; spacetime is a fabric that is bent by the presence of matter. For things smaller than an atoms, the leading theory is quantum mechanics. Quantum mechanics hasn’t definitely explained gravity. One of the leading subtheories to quantum mechanics uses a hypothetical particle called a graviton to communicate gravity. No one has been able to unite the two leading theories in physics (relativity and quantum mechanics) with any experimental success. In the meantime, we just treat (a) things smaller than atom and (b) everything larger as two different worlds.

I loved the 3-button navigation because there are rarely any errors with navigation. The taps are too different from each other to get confused compared to the gestures. The thing I like about the gesture bar is that it makes 1-handed use possible for me, so I’m stuck with the gestures. But at least 3 times a day, I accidentally signal the back gesture when I only meant to swipe left to right. Soo frustrating. I’m getting good at self-soothing tho 😎

Remembering from my social psychology classes in undergrad, I believe number is 150. But yes, that’s a good point. It’s one of the reasons people in major urban areas like NYC are capable of moving on with their lives when terrible things happen to those around them. We biologically can’t care about people once we reach our 150 limit. Btw, I think the authors of that theory argued that that number is one of the major differences between us and other social species.
