Ayyy, sleep deprivation buddy! I’ve been up since 5 AM and feel like absolute death. :)
Thankfully breaking a bone. The only time I broke one was back in the summer of 1999 on the way out to the car with my family, I think we were headed into town for something when I slipped on our porch and fell weird. As my parents supported me down to the car, out of instinct I put weight on my broken leg.
I can still remember the loss of absolutely everything else, my mind was just flooded with that agony.
Gridders my beloved. This curator on steam might be of use.
Chip and Ironicus in general are just fantastic, especially when it’s a REALLY stupid game (in the good way!) like Wonderful 101. Ironicus just losing his shit at this next absurd thing never fails to make me laugh.
Ayyyy, fellow Jets enjoyer!
Arby’s curly fries are peak fast food fries.

Yep, they’re gonna ignore this study and all this research just like the rest of it. :(
Wait, Factorio has mods?
Christ, and I thought Rimworld was a giant timesink for me.
A friend once turned me on to peanut butter and tuna sandwiches.
I… do not know why I thought that was good at one point, now that I think about it.
I work for a fairly big university and we still ask (or at least we did pre-COVID, when I handled some recruitment stuff). And it has to be, like… two references from two different positions (or classes or whatever)? Again, unless something changed.
References are hard as shit to get ahold of, too. I could pay off all my debts if I had a nickel for every time I had to get recruitment to nab us more refs.
Definitely my slow cooker; I don’t have a ton of time to actually cook (three birds who stick to me like glue will do that), so I can just throw some ingredients into the crockpot and have dinner done w/o much effort or having to wrangle the flock out of the kitchen.
Oh my god, this one hits hard. The smell of bacon being fried in a skillet STILL gives me memories of when dad would fix some because he was up super early and needed something to do.
