I’m convinced that some of the toxicity is tuned to your own contributions. I’m almost 40 and I still play League 8-10 hours a week.
Almost all of that is tipsy ARAM games, and considering I got my toxicity out years ago I find that, given I’m always positive and having a fun time, I solely run into others that are positive and having a fun time.
People might underestimate how much self sorting that game does based on behavior in their algorithms.
It’s good. If you can find enjoyment in a book that’s more about it’s fascinating premise than it is about it’s characters then it’s especially good.
Same, as I read it I’ve been thinking of it as Chinese Michael Crichton, but overall it’s been very good.

This is exactly me. I wish I could do something more meaningful when it hits 8pm, and the alcohol isn’t good for me in the long run, but doing something that has be completely disconnected from my responsibilities for 1-2 hours at night keeps me recharged the rest of the time.

My ex would do this and it was a tough comparison with my wife who arches the other way (which is great).
