You know you have a good post here when people are immediately hostile to you. And people who are replying specifically to tell you that they don’t care about your opinion, who clearly haven’t had their morning coffee.

As someone who just gets sweaty when they drink coffee, I don’t begrudge people who get a kick out of it. But there are too many people who make their caffeine addiction a part of their personality.

Thought this was referring to the Marvel character, Medusa, one of the Inhumans.

Could not figure out how prehensile hair and rock skin made a good match.

That IS the point, and rarely do equality or equity initiatives “pull down” anyone.

But the Haves feel like they’ve earned their position, and that means that if you help a Have Not in any way, you are taking away from their achievement (which in this case is “not being born poor/black/female”)
