Not sure why you were downvoted, but this is a good point. In fact, I find it interesting that the US hasn’t stopped pretending and just lifted the law against hiring illegal immigrants.

It’s the main argument on how to stop illegal immigration, no one seems to talk about. Instead of building walls, jailing people or even shooting them for crossing the border, they should crack down on the people who hire them. To me it’s just conservatives admitting that their opinions are just racist.

Yup, this just sounds impossible without just banning the printers. Guns don’t have to conform to typical gun shapes. You could just print anything that can function as a barrel and some of the other pieces and then just go in the garage and whittle a handle from a piece of wood or something. Make a part that is much larger and then just cut off the piece you want. I mean there are so many ways around this it’s not even funny.

I think you’re on the right track. First, especially with your experience, do the work and become the doctor you want them to be. And buy a Porsche.

Second, how much work did that person do to earn the degree? How much debt did that person incur?

I’ve seen many times where a person with lesser education outperforms a “superior.” It’s not really fair, but getting the degree and then the job…that’s just the way it is.

My favorite band of all time is ELO. I found out the other day that they are still active. I saw some video and they still sound pretty good. So I looked for a venue nearby. Tickets were $280 +fees. But it’s also an hour flight and a hotel plus incidentals. Technically I CAN afford this. I just don’t want to. Guess I’ll just watch the videos. I can’t imagine paying $3000 to see Taylor Swift.
