This year I started Holiday shopping about 6 months ago. I am 99% done, just have to wrap them. Cut way down on my stress levels. 10/10 would recommend.
Don’t let others dictate how you feel around the Holidays. Need some days off for you? Take em. Don’t want to drive/fly across the country? Don’t. There will be a next year. Focus on the now and how you feel.
I’m a runner and never really had that problem. Then again, I’ve never been super buff. I think that’s why a lot of sports shirts are on the tighter side. To still uphold that social modesty while providing a barrier between skin to skin chaffing.
Same. I’m a dude but quietly judge any other dude who has their shirt off in a public space. Beach? Fine, that’s kind of why we’re here. Running down the sidewalk? Put your shirt on you attention whore. It just seems… Extra
Yeah, I am shocked by the amount of larger F150s and RAM trucks I’ve seen. Even witnessed a GMC Sierra in Akureyri.
The Duster is a sweet little ride. I’d snag one if they brought it to the states.
Very true but we don’t have this Kia. The Sportage here is a shorter wheel base than what we have in the states. I want to say 6 inches shorter overall.
I drove that thing to a Glacier today. Was doing 45km/h on large river rocks. Handled it like a champ! I am thoroughly impressed.
You are so spot on with all of this!! Very intelligent responses. Better with the words than I am.
Bet. A friend lives in Missoula and routinely drives to Butte in his Kona and says it handles the roads just fine.
Sure felt like it! Winds were kicking at 40km sustained on the west coast. Absolutely killed our mileage that day. But no, no tornadoes
My mom’s Highlander does the same thing so I think this is just a thing.
K, but that 4 door convertible…
The only thing I use GPS for is to zoom in and see exit numbers before I get to them. I am a weirdo and when I go somewhere once, I am usually good to go.
36/m US. I learned to drive a manual when I was 18. I prefer it now to automatic and even more fun in a little econo shit box. I rented a Kia Picanto in the U.K. and had the time of my life.
Teach her! It will be fun and won’t start any fights. I promise.
In all seriousness, if you do teach her just encourage her to go off of feeling, that’s what helped me. If you feel it ‘lugging’ put your foot on the clutch and shift down.
My dad’s instructions for clutch and gas at the same time did not help and contributed to me having to replace the clutch after a year of ownership.
We were at 71% yesterday and 69% today. Indoor humidity is 67%, at least for me in Leschi.
It’s the proximity to water sources that makes it more bearable and seem less oppressive than other areas with higher humidity.
Man, I hate America sometimes. I wish we got fun little hatches like this. Instead we just get mammoth SUVs or uninspired CUVs.
What’s wrong with just enjoying life and maybe believing that someone had this experience?
We do. I moved here from New Mexico 16 years ago and now complain about heat over 75.
