  • Colemak is an alternative keyboard created by Shai Coleman, named as a portmanteau of Dvorak and Coleman. Its design goals consist of easy transition from QWERTY due to repositioning only 17 letter keys. Additionally the AZXCV shortcuts are in the same location perhaps allowing an easier time switching from QWERTY.

It also claims greater efficiency than Dvorak. Furthermore it places complete emphasis on the home-row: the ten most-common characters in English are on the ten home-row keys.

I type in dvorak and actually love it. It just feels comfortable when I type.

  • Honestly… Retail management hasn’t been bad. Big blue pays acceptable for salaried management positions. If you like to travel, you can do project management positions where you remodel stores. If you’re looking for local work and can do handyman stuff, you can work as a General Facilities Maintenance Technician and they pay pretty decent to fix everything and anything between a couple stores.

  • The software of today is more demanding than the hardware. You have to increase the hardware to have a good user experience.

The upgrades that they are shilling are neither hardware nor software upgrades. They are just an addition of Learning Language Models (LLMs) that only give information based on statistical data and sentence structures. This is why many of the AI chat bots out there are extremely unreliable.

The integration of Ai into user devices is, simply, a waste of user storage, hardware, processing power, and bogs down a system that is already running at capacity due to the hardware limitations (not increasing the standard RAM amount).
