What are the drives enclosures ?

I have an M2 Mac mini not really used and that would be a great idea to do something like you, instead of the huge supermicro server.

• 256Gb nvme for Windows
• 1Tb nvme for some games
• 8Tb ssd raid for other games and whatever junk I need.

With the price of sata ssd it’s easy to slowly build an ssd raid for gaming.

The sad thing is you only need one company to enter the market with aggressive prices so the others are forced to react (and admit they were abusing their clients).

That’s what happened in France with Free, and now everyone can have 15 to 30€ good internet. Caps are something never heard of. Later they did the same thing with mobile networks and now most of Europe have cheap unlimited no roaming etc. Zero company went bankrupt, they just had to learn how to reduce their margins.

As a result I have a 10Gb/10Gb fiber with tv for 40$

I work in ATC (air traffic control) and everything runs on Linux, from radars correlation to flight data processing.

And it’s not just us, most Air navigation service provider in the world works the same way.
