I recently learned that the guy that wrote this song is Neil Cicierega, who is also responsible for Potter Puppet Pals AND makes music under the title of Lemon Demon, which I had independently started listening to a few years ago. A few weeks ago I stopped at a mcdonalds and caught what looked like the manager packing burgers with his bare hands. Like, grabbing the patty, bun, lettuce, everything without gloves. I tried to take a picture but he saw me staring and put some gloves on.

In trms of the vibe that the title gives off, I guess. First category is a fairly serious-sounding, usually 1 word title, and the second category seems to be a grab-bag of silly titles and titles where the first word is “______'s”

They’re just taking an educated guess. Based on fossil records we’ve estimated that homo sapiens sapiens emerged about 200k-300k years ago. I’m not sure if they assumed a middle ground estimate of 250k years here, but it was probably something like that. If we’re measuring by years, the margin of error is huge, but when we’re estimating the total number of people, it doesn’t matter that much, because there were so few of us for so long.

To be fair, that’s just the culture that’s come up around the game. Yeah its a pretty famous demonstration of the fact that we learn grammar seperately from individual words. IE most people add s to the end because thats what we normally do when we have a plural, even though we dont know what a wug is
