I was a proud third party voter for a long time but changed my mind after watching CGPGrey’s video about first past the post. It’s not really ABOUT trying to change minds but FPTP voting rules really do mean that a two party system is bound to very basic human psychology.
I have NO idea about the actual answer. Is it possible that these are from different time-of-day readings?
No. Not even close to OK. There are examples of light in the darkness, such as Tim Walz (Kamala Harris’ running mate) who as the governor of Minnesota enacted a law to make school lunches free for all. Kids don’t get to decide who they are born to, and hungry kids don’t learn nearly as well as fed kids. Educated kids help our future, so it’s an extremely high ROI.
I’ve long said that the best place to loose weight is at the grocery store. You pretty much only ever go to the outside edge. Buy potatoes, onions, peppers, mushrooms, squash and zucchini, radishes, carrots and any other vegetables you like. Bulk is what works here. Then go buy what protein you can afford. Skip anything that has been processed beyond meat and milk.
I’m guessing that you are not from America. I’m fairly certain that you can fail out of being a police officer because you’re too intelligent.
Great points. Note: I’m not arguing against it as a concept. I’m just skeptical that it’ll happen, and even if it did, there wouldn’t likely be terrible consequences for the accused, especially as that’s what science is… new facts change the outcome vs choosing an outcome and matching facts to it.
Are you expecting that the for-profit college will go back and retroactively rescind degrees? What’s the end-game for re-running the thesis?
I ‘AINT ROLLIN’ WITHOUT MY MAN GOLDBUG!
Yeah, maybe something like one company that could aggregate all of the separate services into one subscription. They could use a collective bargaining strategy to keep the price of each subscription down. Maybe they could even bundle together the actual physical hardware and maintain the infrastructure required to get the signals to us as well!
Or the other good friends whom I’ve actually asked. The kind who don’t give a fuck about whether they’d hurt my feelings or not.
1)I generally don’t sweat a ton.
2)The sweat I do have isn’t particularly odorous.
3)My spouse says that they LIKE the way I smell.
I’ve tried antiperspirant a few times but it makes my armpits itch about the same as poison ivy. Last time I had to get some anti-it h cream because it was driving me insane. Even “mild” deodorant causes issues after a few days of wear.
Or, you could leave people alone and not look at their belly button if that offends you.
I do like pickles but olives are def better in my opinion.
In it’s time? Early days of music videos: Sledgehammer, Peter Gabriel 2000s: The Hunter, Bjork Recently: The love in my heart, Jacob Collier
Easy mode: OK GO’s entire catalog of music videos.
Doesn’t matter, had sex.
The wife has a penchant for taking off her underwear and throwing them as hard as she can at me. They are light, so I don’t mind.
I worked at a cable company in my youth. This was the obvious response. Everyone seemed to think that if they could just have a-la-carte cable that they’d be happy (and thought that they’d pay less). What most wouldn’t believe is that a LOT of those channels you didn’t care about were either free to the provider, or in the case of things like QVC were actually subsidizing more expensive channels (ESPN being the biggest one).
