I can handle shitty graphics, it’s the framerates that really mess with me.
I sometimes forget that some games on Switch cap at 30fps. Jumping from a 165hz display running 165fps to a 60hz display running 30fps is… a bit jarring.

As a teenager, my parents would only let me have a PC if it was situated outside of my room, so naturally, I put my setup in my basement. I was excited to play games in the coolest (temp-wise) room in the house, up until the day a camel cricket decided to jump up my pants and continue to work its way up until I smashed it against myself.
Yuck.
I like to imagine that the childbots are made in the image of the parentbots, and the childbots eventually are tasked with picking out preferred larger parts as a growing rite.
I cast: instant brazilian waxing!
For the 2nd one, better safe than sorry. You would feel like more of a dumbass if you heard a story in the news about a gas leak fire, or some other form of damage/injury/death.
A single player game that is exclusive to streaming would just be gone forever the instant it gets delisted.
I agree with this, but what does it have to do with GeForce Now? They don’t make any games exclusive on this platform… nor do they have rights to many other games that are exclusives. Beyond that, none of the games on GeForce Now are owned by the user because the games are available through Steam or Epic mostly.
I’ve been thinking about the same thing. I know that the chairs I’d like to get are like $700-1000, but I can’t justify that cost while not consistently making money (full-time school for now).
I do spend a lot of time sitting at my desk, so I guess if you break down the price by hours in use, it’s not ridiculous to pay so much for a chair that lasts a decade.
Hopefully I can find a solid refurbish for around $400 eventually… but probably not.
I hope they lose a lot of money doing this, so that they dissuade other companies from doing the same.
Yeahhh… I paid for it because I needed the functionality.
Yes, Silla was a kingdom, and then it became the main ruling kingdom for a while, and then it fragmented again, but one of the fragments was still called Silla… :)
I know, I just wanted to “technically” your “technically” to be silly :P
Korea is called Korea because of Goryeo, which was one of the historical unifying states that brought together the Later Three Kingdoms…
It’s a little hard to explain because the kingdoms would often “unify” (aka conquer) the other kingdoms, eventually fall, and the later kingdoms would often adopt those previous names. Would be here all day trying to explain it.
But yeah, Goguryeo, one of the Kingdoms, romanized their name to “Koryo” which was later also used by Goryeo. Goryeo was named as an adaptation of Goguryeo so… yeah. Confusing.
Well technically, it’s not a voice modulating the synth but rather the shape of your mouth. It’s not your voice if you aren’t producing your own sound, I’d argue.
I’ve only had issues connecting in Helldivers once so far, aside from the quick matching. On the other hand, some of the friends I’ve played with have been having constant problems. Not sure what’s up with that.
Those sweepstakes rewards are pretty sweet though… Capcom hanafuda cards??? Though US is not eligible for it.
Agreed, alpha humor will change the world
I am certainly interested in the 2nd game. Should I play the 1st game before then? I heard mostly good things about DD1.
Interesting that the screen has such an aggressive curve, but the scanlines and text box are relatively straight.
