You could save yourself a lot of time coming up with and typing out these sob stories if you just say “I don’t care about other people being hurt”. It’s only affecting other people right? Surely you will never be affected.

10·1 year agoNot with idiots fighting it every step of the way to make sure it’s as unreliable or nonexistent as possible.
Driving is the most expensive and dangerous way to get around, ironically championed by the party of “fiscal responsibility”.
Train tracks would have been cheaper to build (and maintain), take up far less space and be far better for the local economy. Hell, just investing the money on buses would have been far more efficient.

Seriously though, I tried putting FreeBSD on my Linux laptop a few years ago and it was not a fun time. Reminded me a lot of running Linux on desktop in the 2000s when I first discovered Linux.
I’m rooting for them though. I like the idea of keeping development and documentation so tightly integrated and maintained by a single dedicated company.
