Can someone show me on a map where “the west” starts?
Why did Proton adding a Bitcoin wallet cause you to look elsewhere? If it’s a product you’re not interested in, just don’t use it. Otherwise you’re stuck using providers that offer exactly what you want, no more and no less, which seems like such a narrow needle to thread, you’ll never find something or can’t stick with it for long.
I don’t think the email alias thing comes with Mail Plus, it’s part of Proton Pass. You either need to get Unlimited which includes all of their products or pair mail plus with the paid version of Pass. There’s a chance I’m wrong because I have Unlimited and haven’t really explored it, but look into it before you commit.
Deny it wifi credentials and it has nowhere to send the stuff it’s spying on
I’ve been using a Chromecast with Google tv, and have deprived my tv my WiFi credentials. 90% of what I watch is from my Plex server, 9% other streaming services, 1% digital antenna.
It’s not an ideal situation but as you know because you asked the question, the privacy situation in TVs is dire. Otherwise you’re doing ridiculous shit like plugging computers into it or whatever.
To be clear, this is a feature, not a bug
You don’t even need a store, you can install through the apk here https://signal.org/android/apk/
Signal does not collect metadata.
Ok, in like 2 seconds of looking into Wire I see that the app is rated 2.8 stars to Signal’s 4.5 and under the “data collected” section it lists name, email, phone number, user ID, photos, and videos. Signal lists phone number.
Because Signal is awesome and the gold standard for privacy
Women are not going to be a few months of the first to get a new one out of the first to get a new one out of the first to get a new new new one out of the first to …
Wouldn’t it only allow numerical values and give you the keypad instead of the full keyboard?
I think you just asked a question and then immediately answered it
Conversely, they do mind having multiple apps and only send sms
The benefit is that Signal displaces the default sms app and is also Signal. Rather than having to jump between 2 apps.
I totally agree. And to make matters worse, one of their arguments was that supporting SMS was taking resources away from developing other features. But what mind blowing features have come out since they dropped SMS? Usernames, I guess, which they were working on anyway. New app icons…

Ok so which of these definitions describes Israel?
