I ate some hippies, plastics’ natural enemies.
I’ve been eating plastic straws nonstop for days and I’m pretty sure I just levitated for a couple seconds
Kremlin social media disinformation campaign causing civil unrest
they love defending authoritarianism more than they like leftist economics.
They’re not paid to like leftist economics.
Of course, and neither Russia nor China are communist.
A lot of it isn’t actually communists, but a facade for spreading authoritarian propaganda.
I don’t want governments controlling what we see, hear, and say.
Might want to find a new instance
Because the Fediverse is a great target for propaganda, which is invaluable for some authoritarian countries.
Lemmy is an echochamber with relatively limited, uncoordinated moderation. 1,000,000+ monthly active users, and lemmy.ml is a flagship instance.
It’s a bummer. I love the idea of the Fediverse but it’s having some propaganda growing pains.
Hard disagree, they’re here and able to operate relatively freely with no central admin fighting disinformation.
They’re not delusional, they’re paid.
This, folks, is CCP propaganda.
Edit: I got whooshed, lemmy.ml has me on high alert
This approach makes sense.
Nice to remember that in addition to being a strong wartime leader defending his country, asking for ammunition instead of evacuating, and visiting the front lines… he can also play the piano with his dick.
I support Gaza being freed but I’m getting tired of this blatant propaganda.
Happened in the US too. A NORAD computer basically said “they launched the nukes” but it was actually the moon.
The people at the top making these decisions don’t believe the propaganda.
You’re right, and additionally he can’t just decide to use them unilaterally. Launching those nukes would take a bunch of egotistical, self-centered sociopaths all deciding to commit suicide together.
I don’t promote promote Lemmy to anyone because of all the propaganda. Lemmy.ml, Hexbear, etc
I will if it ever gets cleaned up, I love the idea of the fediverse
