I’m feelin’ the love. Opening the game to modding to the degree they already have has lengthened the life span of this game for weeks months of additional play time. Making it open source would make it immortal.
You’re correct, that they can and often do donate to both sides of the two-party system, but you’re missing that it’s money candidates need to bring awareness and amplify their message, motivating people to vote them into office. If the voting doesn’t matter, if the whole result is a foregone conclusion, the money and influence campaign is meaningless and doesn’t occur.
just goes to illustrate how important every American’s vote is, and how consequential the results will be.
Oh I liked it a lot. In the early 90s, I had enough UI extensions running that OS7 looked exactly like BeOS. Gaming life was a lot of Bungie and AmbrosiaSW games and shareware games. So many shareware games. I established my first gamer tag at that time when playing A-10 Attack and A-10 Cuba. You want to talk about Nintendo-hard… Bungie’s Myth - The Fallen Lords was super-hard in single player, and the cross-platform multiplayer was amazeballs. I miss that game so much. Did all my Warcraft RTS playing, and waited a few agonizing months for the mac version of Starcraft to come out. Coincidentally, it was around then that I started doing file sharing through Carracho and Hotline

So worth the time. She had an aweful 2-days 2-nights for thousands of dollars, and did it so you and I didn’t have to lose that money to learn the hard way.
I love that she contextualizes all of this against the backdrop of Disney corporate cowardice and shortsightedness. Also, bless the friggin cast members!

If compared to its contemporaries, It holds up pretty well. The planetoid fly-by in the intro certainly challenged the state of the art at the time. It’s more closely related to Ghibli’s Castle in the Sky [1986] in style, being produced by Toei Animation, especially if compared to its two box office winners that year, Bluth’s An American Tail and Disney’s The Great Mouse Detective. Is it trying to sell toys? Yes. Did families have to leave the theaters due to inconsolable children wailing over the death of Optimus Prime? Yes. Does it deserve more than 2.5 stars… Maybe not. Am I glad that it exists and broke ground to provide for the state of animated story telling today? Absolutely.

way to crap on an 18 year-old animated movie because the animation hasn’t aged well.

Sounds like all he needed to do was make her co-president of the united states of america and they could go at it like rabbits.
close to freedom. I don’t think we should limit our free speech by having just an area designated for flag burning. Americans should be able to do that wherever they choose.
Irony is dead.
