They only care about the economy when the democrats are holding the purse strings, then suddenly it’s all they care about.

If you ran those scripts while subreddits were dark, the script can’t see those comments you made in those particular subs, (they’re hidden along with the sub) and can’t delete them. Then later when the sub comes back to public mode, your comments will appear as well. So comments you thought you wiped were simply hiding.
Just to add, also check the other sections on your comments when deleting (eg: hot/controversial) because sometimes those ones get missed by the scripts as well.
Not to say that’s the only thing going on… wouldn’t surprise me if they are bringing back some stuff considering their history of shenannigans.
Nah, my body is just like that old truck you see once in awhile in traffic… old, rusted, worn out, full of dents, but by some miracle it still runs even though it burns a lot of oil and the steering wheel wobbles a bit between 20- 45 mph.
Bad back, bad knee, arthritic hands, missing the tips of 2 fingers, bad wrist, a lot of scars, pulmonary fibrosis (Scarred lungs from working in dusty environments) at 50 yrs.
But thankfully no cancer yet lol
I’ve always understood the saying to just mean to pay attention to all the little details.
Years ago I used to use Comodo, but quit because each update felt like one step closer to sketchiness from them. I ended up finding Simplewall on github, (a nice, simple, straight to the point firewall) and never looked back.
Aside from the other good links to find lemmits(?) https://lemmyverse.net/communities
As a mainly desktop user I agree. Nearly everything is designed/built around portrait mode nowadays, and landscape is merely a secondary concern… if at all. Understandable considering a lot of traffic is from mobile, but it can make things feel a bit clunky and fit poorly on a wide screen.
I think it may have something to do with copyrights as to why they don’t have anything newer than 2013. I could be wrong though.
Just to add, the manuals are downloadable for offline use and if you’re so inclined, they have a torrent that contains their entire collection at https://charm.li/about.html (Warning it’s big, slightly over 700 gigabytes.)
Ya I just went through all that bullshit last year. my old fridge (maybe 15yrs) crapped out and the repair guy told me flat out that they typically don’t repair stuff like that anymore. Manufacturers make it intentionally difficult to obtain parts and even if you can get them, chances are they’ll crap out before too long. I ended up getting a new Danby. I hope it proves me wrong but…
The worst part is the silly over priced fridges you buy probably won’t even last 10 years anymore. Sure they’re more efficient, but if you have to replace it every 10-15 years, is it really worth it? I’d sooner have a slightly less efficient fridge that I know will last than one that can show me ads and look fancy.
A Memary or a Mematorium.
