People that don’t like the original after watching the parody probably wouldn’t like the original even without watching the parody. The parody just puts a spotlight on aspects of the show that lots of people noticed and they probably already have an opinion about those things in their media.

Don’t put too much stock into other people liking the things you like. They have their own very specific individual tastes and you can be good friends even without agreeing on lots of things.

Love is multiple things and is still meaningful for us.

Theoretically I can see somebody not being attracted to guys, as in masculine people, or just males, but still being turned on by penises as we see in OP’s example. That person might not call themselves gay since they wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with any guys, but might be interested in a hookup with a trans woman who still had their dick.

Maybe their is some nuance in what being gay is or there is room for another descriptor for this phenomenon.

Here’s an opinion of somebody unwilling to reflect or learn.

Perfect intersectionality is a goal, an ideal that we can be measured against, but there must be a transition to it because we are not there in many ways. Places holding themselves to a strict or impossible standard are probably hurting themselves in the short term, but I still think that it is a good goal to work toward.

It’s short for raccoon and a derogatory term for black people. As clever as it is to call this Sailor Coon to have a clear rhyme with Sailor Moon, I think it would be better for the name to have been Sailor Raccoon to keep the rhyme and ditch the brevity to avoid this association.
