Yeah this screams privilege lol
Yeah this screams privilege lol
I once knew a guy named Harry Hooker
How come? I’ve been out of the open source loop recently
This is just my theory, but with the price of game development increasing so rapidly, I think it’s getting harder for the impatient to cover the development costs and make a profit off shitty games, unless the game has a huge following. Games like COD, Diablo, Star Wars, etc.
For games without that following, I think they are definitely being punished for their bad practices. Like Gotham Knights, Red Fall, Saints Row, etc. Games that cost so much that they have potential to shut down studios
I didn’t know this. Do you like it?
For the last 4 years I go back to Minecraft at the beginning of the year with a friend so I’m excited for this year’s play through in 2-3 months
Recently started my first play through. Enjoy!
I recently started playing Divinity Original Sin 2, and I went through this problem as well until I changed the way I approached the game.
I just let go of trying to make the most optimized decisions and instead just make the decision I, or my character would make (if I’m role playing).
I just realized that no matter what decision I make, it will still lead me to finish the game. If I really want to, later I can go back and play it again to see more of the game. Only if I like my first play-through though.
I’m just now learning this. I have told people for years that I didn’t want to do it professionally, but people convinced me to do photo shoots for them. I somehow ended up doing about 9 photo shoots in the course of two months. It really did take all the fun out of it.
I hate the deadlines, the communication, and the pressure of it. I like being in control of my photography, I don’t want to give the control to other people tbh
I guess my confidence and knowledge did grow a lot, but I don’t want to keep doing it
I do the same thing with a space.
I have no idea why I do that and when I started
Because the USA took that title already.
I know a lot of people from central/south america that are mad about that and they make a comment whenever you say “american.” They prefer the term “estadounidense” which is just someone who is from the USA.
I don’t blame them because it is pretty self centered especially whenever there are two whole ass continents that term could apply to, but I don’t think get the anger around it lol.
I went through a glasses addiction myself as well lol. I found an eye-care clinic where they would cut the lenses and have them ready within 3 hours.
I would go to garage sales, thrift stores, and swap meets to find glasses to put lenses on. They were like $60 for the lenses and I never spent more than $10 on frames.
I ended up with 3 seeing glasses and 4 sun glasses before I realized it was going to be unsustainable to get new lenses for my new prescription every year.
Which ones did you get? My mom has that issue so it might be worth getting her some for her birthday.
The only way she can get earbuds to stay in is to take the silicon tips off which I can imagine is really uncomfortable
This happens in my family all the time.
I had a dream with my aunt. She was in an all white dress in a field waving goodbye at me and she was yelling stuff at me but I couldn’t quite make it out. I was trying to get to her, but I couldn’t get past a fence even though it was like 2 feet tall and I could easily jump over it. It felt like it was a goodbye. After a while I stopped trying to understand and get to her, and just waved goodbye, then the dream ended.
I woke up and wrote my dream down and went on with my day. It wasn’t until later l found out she had passed away. I was like 10 and at that time and I was very scared, so I didn’t tell my mom about my dream until years later. She told me that happens often in my family
I don’t necessarily believe in the supernatural either, but some things I don’t think can be explained. Like if it happens once I get it, but this has happened multiple times. I’ve seen my brother wake up from a dream and tell us about how he said goodbye to a family member only to right then and there find out they had passed away. I cannot explain it
This reminds me of an old friend I had at work.
She was in HR and looking to hire a new employee and she complained to me about how all the people applying weren’t from the country and they weren’t capable of doing the job because they didn’t know how to behave…
At the end of her small rant I guess she realized I was one of those “outsiders” and then she said “oh but you’re one of the good ones!”
Lol that’s so cool
I want one too but I’m scared I won’t use it. I’m holding off until I meet someone with one and see it in person
I got that lesson with call of duty ghost and assassin’s creed 3 back in 2013. I was extremely hyped for the games and they both ended up sucking.
After that I will just buy a game after it’s been out for a couple months
Dude it’s not a dig lmao
You just have some privileges that allow you to have more free time. If I was you I probably wouldn’t do anything differently
