My experience is that I tried to use it years ago and it didn’t work, so I continued using Signal. Straight up could not receive messages. That’s probably fixed now but if I wanted to move away, I’d try SimpleX instead.

No, this is a bookmark software. You can probably use JDownloader for this to scrape a URL for downloadable content, depending on how the site you use is formatted.
They updated the YT plugin which doesn’t require a full apk update, only a plugin update.
I like GrayJay. It has a PeerTube plugin.
A small whiteboard on the fridge perhaps?
If you need to throw in the towel on email self-hosting, don’t be ashamed. Mail servers are one of the more difficult projects to run. If you do end up outsourcing this, I recommend SendGrid, it’s reliable and free.
You have to add the FUTO repo https://app.futo.org/fdroid/repo/
I have run Jellyfin for about 3 years. Plex has a lot of community support and praise so I spun up a test instance. Unfortunately for Jellyfin, Plex is much most reliable for me in pretty much every way. I would love for Jellyfin to keep improving but the switch to Plex just made the media experience so much nicer.
I prefer Symphonium. Tempo isn’t nearly featured enough for me just yet.
Cloudflare with CloudflareDDNS
Or why I shouldn’t use Jellyfin over Emby.
I’ve used Joplin and Standard Notes. I do use Standard Notes premium and I much prefer it.
You’re asking on Lemmy, so you’re going to get a lot of privacy related answers. For usability, Cloudflare tunnels are a super easy and free way to setup and don’t involve your family members having to VPN into your network with Tailscale or Wireguard. This is especially useful if they are streaming from a smart TV or media stick.
Is it the most privacy-friendly? No. You’re giving up a little bit of that for convenience and lower maintenance. IMO for my threat model, it’s worth it.
I’m on Jellyseerr awaiting the day that Overseerr receives its decoupling update to allow Jellyfin servers.
Firefox is very good compared to a lot of available browsers on Android. I have a bug where I can still interact with the tab switcher when I am in the app switcher. This is so annoying so I’ve had to switch to Brave.
Most private trackers don’t allow a shared VPN like Mullvad anyway. Some do but most don’t.
I highly recommend crDroid. It’s super customizable and has a good battery life / performance ratio.
I trust their privacy claims but if you backup your email and calendar you can just as easily move elsewhere if Proton does go down. Having only one provider can make things a lot easier to manage.
It’s called Homepage
You can use Subtify with Navidrome to import your playlists. It matches your Spotify playlists with your local music.
