Because for some reason, no matter what I try, Windows 10 desktop is laggy as hell on Qemu, and smooth out of the box on VirtualBox.

That’s a very… capitalist way of thinking.
It’s not, corporations’ bad faith interpretation of the law doesn’t make it legal.

Yes, you will still be able to use your helmet intercom/headset.
Earplugs will actually significantly improve your experience. It’s much easier to hear everything without the constant wind noise.
You know what else is unsafe? Letting Windows force the auto-update and break your bootloader (and that’s just their latest fuck-up).
Heh, I was confused because I switched full-time to Wayland a while ago and that was never an issue for any game… but then you mentioned Nvidia. RIP
I saw they switched recently to partially open source drivers, so hopefully it’s gonna be better for you soon.
I’m currently using KZones, actually, it’s not automatic, but it works pretty great.
If you’re still on X11. Krohnkite didn’t support Wayland all that well last time I checked.
We do have them.
Most popular DEs already support tiling with extensions (Gnome and KDE).
KDE actually added native support, although pretty limited so far.
Yeah… I wonder if it’s the same story here - devs trying to interpret the rules in their own special way and Google putting their foot down.
EDIT: as far as I can tell they kept referral links in the Google Play version and still claim to have no ads or tracking.
I guess they’re still lying.
Sideberry really is amazing. So good I could never switch to another browser if it meant abandoning it.
users expect support when things don’t work
no shit, that’s why you refuse support for users with unsupported configurations.
This is not a new concept.
It’s standard for big companies to say they only support RHEL or Ubuntu, in every other case you’re on your own.
Instead of axing their entire Linux support they could just do the reasonable thing, which is ignore issues that are out of scope.
Or should they support users trying to run their software on Windows 95, just because it’s still technically Windows?
But they’re not - it’s the same old, tired excuse that was never true.
“Too many different distros” was never really a good argument.
Just support one and users will figure it out, like we always do.
I’m still not sure. It’s hard to believe anyone at their company would OK this idea.
Are they actually trying to deliberately kill their brand?
Proton Drive Linux desktop client and system integration for Calendar on Android are the main ones I remember.
Outrage narrative? Are you talking about me, or you?
Are you actually a Proton user, or you just here to shitpost? Because there are features that were promised years ago and then forgotten about, because they aren’t trendy enough.
Is a paying customer not allowed to complain that they waste their time on chasing the next popular thing, instead of, I dunno, delivering important features promised years ago?
I think making it an opt-out is sensible
Why? I’m not in the business of making ad companies’ jobs easier.
It’s EU’s GDPR.
Anything like a newsletter or marketing must be opt-in. And it cannot be bundled with other consent, that is they can’t refuse to provide you a service if opt-in isn’t absolutely necessary.
To be honest, not sure if any other countries have such laws.
Yeah, gotta have that and all that Secure Boot with TPM bullshit, because I’m visualizing a company workstation and nothing will work without those.
