The Democrats won’t win an election while opposing fracking. O&G is far FAR too powerful to let that happen. If Harris stood firmly against fracking, then the opponent would win - be he (and it will be a he) Trump, Musk, or David “Son of Sam” Berkowitz.

But because they’re rich and determined to play both sides of the fight, they also pour some (less) money towards the Democrats to have some leverage.

As hilarious as this is, it doesn’t really address the question of whether farts will maintain their potency in a jar, or if they’ll degrade in the presence of air.

OK, I know nothing about furry social interactions, but non-furry cons - comic, scifi, etc., are all generally quite welcoming.

The best advice I got as an introvert who moved to a different country was that I don’t have to be outgoing, I just have to pretend to be outgoing. Acting, essentially. It was surprising how easy it was to fake sociability, to the point that I made a few friends.

So many incorrect assumptions in this single question.

First off, Roe v. Wade didn’t establish absolute autonomy over the body, only protected the right to legal abortion.

Secondly, how about men? One could argue that they’ve had all the bodily autonomy that they could hope for, but prostitution in the US is still illegal. Except that that’s not entirely true - because Nevada.

The government has the authority to govern and establish laws. If they decree that prostitution is illegal, than it’s not really a question of bodily autonomy as much as it is about business law.

You can’t legally sell heroin on the street. You can’t take someone else’s car. And you can’t sell your body for sex.

Absolutely true.

I don’t believe for a second that Google and Reddit give a shit, though. Untilbwe see a company destroyed for violating the GDPR, they’ll just consider the risk of fines part of the cost of doing business.

Even better, don’t use Twitter at all and don’t support its insane fascist asshole billionaire owner.

I’d qualify that as for-profit mandatory insurance.

Canpt get a mortgage without home insurance. Canpt drive a vehicle without at least liability. Those rates should be strictly government regulated to be sustainable and non-profit.

But if you want to insure your collection if priceless Whitworth wrenches, well maybe I care a bit (Just a bit!) less about insurance gouging.
