Just found Survive (but the original 1982 one, not the reprint), which we’d played a bunch growing up, and it was perfect to play through a couple games of it for nostalgia’s sake without having to buy a game I wouldn’t actually play much at all beyond that.
There’s been a big bump in board games at my library, which I love and I’ve donated to, and one by my sister’s place has a whole tool lending library. Seems super nice for folks that need a power drill once every few years.
It sounds like they moved into a neighborhood with an HOA that had an opt in pool and a two tier fee based on usage, and y’all changed that after the fact and are holding the smaller percent who don’t care about the pool hostage. This is part of why no one likes HOAs.
Prior to the pool retrofit could folks still move in and choose whether or not to pay for/use the pool?
Wait so for the folks that didn’t care about the pool, their dues went up 3.5x so far, soon to be 4.5x, for something they didn’t want or use, and you’re surprised they’re not paying? That’s some entitlement right there…
Don’t try to BS your way through answers; if you don’t know, let them know that but also tell them how you’d go about getting that information.
That’s about $6.85/gallon then, ouch. At least you have functional public transit overall unlike California.
Haha okay
You….want them to be able to sell out in the future?
Loving Managed Democracy too hard
I had to go look it up to double check you weren’t trying to pull a fast one; I was 100% sure it was Bean.
At the last minute I decided to go to my 10 year high school reunion with a couple buddies I had stayed in touch with. Ended up running into a lady I’d obviously gone to high school with but never knew super well, some shared classes and band and stuff. Hit it off and here we are now, married for five years.
Hah yeah that feels right…
Big Can Opener is keeping the US down apparently! Really interesting to find these differences, have a great day and a nice time opening your more convenient cans!
That’s so weird to me; whereabouts are you from? I’m in California and just looked through my cans and maybe 10% of them have pull tabs. Apparently we have the jank can tech here haha
Do you not buy canned goods? Most everything we get needs an opener: veggies, beans, tomato paste/sauce, basically nothing has a pull tab.
I like to and try to compliment folks shirts often because I know how nice it feels when someone compliments mine.
Candy for everyone!
