The gag in this screenshot is also a call-back to S1E05, where Peralta is interrogating a perp and trying to “annoy him into confessing” by playing a guitar poorly and screaming.

Federation of downvotes/reduces and upvotes/favorites is spotty at best, even across instances that are definitely otherwise federated.
Hard to argue with that logic.
It’s my favourite as well. My parents watched TNG and DS9 when I was a kid, but Voyager was the first Trek that I went out of my way myself to watch. Kathryn Janeway is high on my list of personal (albeit fictional) heroes.
Fully functional.
Are we doing “whoooosh”, or leaving that behind?
I’ve bought maybe 40 new games since I got my Steam Deck a year ago. I’ve played maybe a dozen of those, and only played two of them to completion.
I had to start with the Witcher 3, which is finished the main story for but never got around to the DLCs (because my parenting instincts are apparently so bad I got the worst ending possible on my first playthrough, which kind of soured playing any further).
Then I had to play the Mass Effect trilogy, because the Legendary Edition had just dropped and it had been so long.
Then I discovered Horizon Zero Dawn, and couldn’t put it down.
Ever since then I’ve been bouncing back and forth between games and franchises I simply never got around to in my teens and 20s — Assassin’s Creed, the Arkham series, Bioshock, Dishonored, Halo (God bless the Master Chief Collection) Kingdoms of Amalur, Portal (duh), Prince of Persia…
I’m slowly getting caught up on not just my Steam backlog, but 15 years worth of gaming I missed out on because I didn’t have the money.
Steam recommended a game called Inside Jennifer based on the fact that I played the Witcher 3. I understand they want to push the whole visual novel thing they’ve got going this week, but damn.
0% important. I haven’t gotten around to Lower Decks yet and I thought the episode was fantastic.
If it isn’t so cold that it has very tiny, fragile ice crystals pushed to the surface by the bubbles, it’s basically piss.
That goes double for Sprite and Barqs in particular.
If I’m not wearing a sportcoat it goes in my back right pocket. If I am it goes in my inside left.
When I first started modding Skyrim back in 2012, I spent a solid week solely on water mods looking for something I liked. One day near the end of the week I was walking to work, and I had to cross a bridge. I looked out over the water and had a momentary thought about checking what water mod “they” were using.
TNG probably has the largest proportion of gold standard episodes of any Trek series, IMO. There’s so many great episodes.
In no particular order, several that come to mind for me are:
I’ve found that I’m checking Kbin a lot less than I checked the other place, but I’m participating more because there’s a lot less toxicity and hostility here (at least for the time being).
I’ll also recommend Mass Effect LE, Witcher 3, and Horizon Zero Dawn. They’re all incredibly cheap at the moment, and they’re all phenomenal games.
I thought there would be more, but nothing else is coming to mind.
On Kbin they’re public. The “activity” menu on each post/thread/comment will show who has favourites it and who has reduced it.
Sure, but was he lying then or is he lying now? It’s hard to keep track of all his bullshit sometimes.
Something something bootstraps.
Oh man, this was me trying to defeat Detleff in the final boss fight of Witcher 3’s Blood & Wine DLC.
I have no idea what I’m going to do when I get to that fight in my Death March playthrough…
